Dog Days of Summer Are Near!

Posted: May 26, 2021

The 2020-2021 school year is upon us; many of us will be glad to move onto a new school year as quickly as possible, as the corona virus epidemic has put a strain on school music programs across the United States.  Many of our educator friends have had to accept the unfortunate paradigm of living with less; we at Tempest from our inception as a company have designed instruments of high exacting standards for band programs that have offered superior quality at a price point that is affordable long before the recent changes in music education we have experienced.  Ten plus years of instruments in band programs across most of the Southern and Western United States, as well as three continents, is a success story that we are proud of. TMEA: Texas Music Educators Association Conference

Tempest continues to grow as a dominant force and the quality of our instruments continue to improve, such as

Tempest Marching Horns are made with thicker metal.  We then rebalance the instruments for better support at major stress points.  With the addition of thicker and properly placed brace points, Tempest Horns can withstand the most aggressive of marching styles.

Tempest Tubas have been redesigned stronger with increased nickel silver re-enforcements at key brace points. Key levers, Uniball rotors, and bell thickness have also been increased.  The concert tuba line now features a warranty for a full “10” years
