The Tempest Agility Winds BBb tuba is a marvel for the beginning tubist. It is a ¼ Size using Hand-lapped pistons and slides, meticulous brace design and placement, and a uniquely designed bell flare. All of this produces a sound that is most impressive for its size. The response is effortless, with faultless in intonation, and manufactured to last for years. This ¼ Size has a .661″ bore and a 14-3/8″ upright bell. The 3 top-action nickel-plated alloy pistons are lightning fast. The body is made of beautiful lacquered brass with generous nickel silver trim. To make it even more practical, Tempest has provided a convertible Leadpipe, so marching is an option. It is furnished is a custom fitted hard case, and supplied with a tuba mouthpiece. It comes with our 5-year warranty as well.
